The biggest selling range of laptops last year was Apple’s MacBook Pro range. Unfortunately they all shipped with Intel’s sixth-generation Core processors, so this week’s news from Intel on the seventh-generation Core processors highlights the awkward choice made by Tim Cook’s Apple in 2016.
