During the events of Rogue One, a lava-covered world – identified as Mustafar – makes an appearance, along with Darth Vader. I’ve long wondered whether such a planet could exist in real life, and thanks to our own search for exoplanets, I can confirm that the answer is, thrillingly, yes.
