Gawker Media is seeking to limit its liability in defending former editor A.J. Daulerio, who remains responsible for his own punitive damages awarded to former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan. Daulerio’s lawyer said the move was meant to pressure him into a settlement–or risk a new lawsuit.
