Maps have always been a way that we were able to conceptualize the topography of our universe. Now the use of GIS has given us more insight into the history of inequality embedded in our country than ever before. Here are just a few of the GIS projects working to use spatial analysis in order to reveal the historical and current prejudices that people of color face every day.
