Where Yext is trying to justify its approach to Location Data Management (LDM) is the suggestion that a website that doesn’t update itself with contextual time-sensitive information becomes nothing more than a ‘digital brochure’. This of course is a waste, because the web is so much more than a set of static pages. So essentially it’s all about trying to make the Internet (as dynamic as Dynamic-HTML can be) just that little bit ‘less static’ and injecting some additional life into it.
