Google recently announced the acquisition of influencer marketing company, FameBit, in an effort to connect YouTube creators with marketers.As the CEO of an influencer marketing company, I found myself asking, “what is it about Famebit that grabbed the attention of Google?” I can only imagine that throughout the acquisition process, executives at Google had to repeatedly ask themselves the age-old question “What’s in it for Me?” (WIIFM).
