Please see this link ( http://ift.tt/2ed9reT ) for some photos of the farm design, it is completely tile-able and only requires an observer block, piston and piece of Redstone per sugar cane, it does however, have a hopper Mine cart running around underneath it and depositing it into hoppers/chests. It has been so far completely loss-less. Uses 16w39c I hope you like it, comment with any questions
