SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk has been in the news recently for two things – the spectacular explosion during fueling of his Falcon 9 rocket on Sept. 1, then a bold announcement this past week that he wants to send humans to Mars within 10 years, a pretty rosy forecast given the vast distance and technical difficulties involved.
