According to a report by Wall Street Journal, leading chipset maker, Qualcomm is reportedly in talks to acquire NXP semiconductors, in a deal likely be valued at more than $30 billion. This could be potentially the largest acquisition in Qualcomm’s history. Though there is no official press release from either of the company, stock price of both Qualcom and NXP surged following the acquisition report, by 6% and 17%, respectively.
