The University of California at San Francisco, IBM and the National Science Foundation have joined forces to build the Center for Cellular Construction on the UCSF campus. The center is devoted to advancing the field of cellular engineering in the areas of green chemistry, environmental protection and the safe production of a wide variety of commercial and industrial products.
