Increasingly, attention has been turning to the ways cloud will power data analytics. At the recent Oracle OpenWorld event, Oracle chairman Larry Ellison proclaimed that Oracle Cloud is 24 times faster for analytics than Oracle on Amazon Web Services’ cloud.
