NASA SLS Booster Nozzle Plug Pieces Fly During Test
In order to keep the inside of the booster nice and tidy before launch, NASA installs a foam plug inside. When the booster is ignited some 9.2 million pounds of thrust simultaneously destroys and ejects the plugs.
