As the transportation world continues to accelerate toward a world of autonomous driving, it increasingly appears that partnerships and consolidation will play a critical role in success. To that end, Volvo cars has followed up its recent partnership with Uber with a new joint-venture with supplier Autoliv. The new Volvo-Autoliv company will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden where it will focus on developing autonomous driving control software.
