Imagine using ultrasound waves to treat essential tremors instead of brain surgery. A new study from the New England Journal of Medicine says this opens the door for non-invasive treatments. In July, an Israeli company, Insightec, received FDA approval for a new device that will bring this treatment to millions of people affected by essential tremors.
