Ahead of Apple’s iPhone 7 launch, there is growing public scrutiny over a problematic design issue in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus handsets. The smartphones are experiencing a defect that is causing touchscreens to fail and a flickering grey bar show up along the top edge of the screen. That’s the claim being made by iFixit.
