The original Mobile Suit Gundam is a fascinating series in many ways. It was one of the earliest works of the then fledging studio Sunrise and the series? inception was by no means a smooth one. To look back on the original work that created the global phenomenon that is Gundam then is in part a history lesson but more an exercise in solid storytelling and characterization.
