With the summer coming to the end, many people are taking advantage of the last days of vacation. However, those of us who work in either career services or college/university relations areas are already ramping up for what promises to be an exciting and robust recruiting season. Those of you who have been job searching might have felt a little discouraged the last couple of weeks, as talent pipeline professionals have tried to “unplug” and haven’t responded or taken action on candidates who may be in their candidate pool. Take some solace in the fact that in the next week or two, things will change decidedly and candidate recruiting will be back in action, big time.
