When Rick Hopfer joined Molina Healthcare as CIO in January of 2011, the company was on the cusp of breaking into the list of the largest US public companies with revenue at roughly $5 billion. Today, five years later, the company has surpassed $14 billion in revenue. Much of the growth has been thank to the Affordable Care Act, as Molina offers Medicaid-related solutions for low-income families and individuals, and assists government agencies in their administration of the Medicaid program.
