After announcing a new Android phone based on another company’s reference design, BlackBerry’s Hub software is now available for non-BlackBerry Android devices.This move will increase the addressable audience for BlackBerry’s software service, but it will rob the hardware division of one of its last unique selling points. If you want Blackberry software, you no longer need to buy BlackBerry’s hardware.
