You obviously have to take alleged leaks and rumors with a grain of salt in this business, but when it comes to Nintendo’s next generation NX console, some of the product concepts and speculation could be reasonably well-founded. There’s little question Nintendo needs to recapture relevance in the console market but slugging it out with platform giants like Microsoft and Sony could be an exercise in futility, especially when you consider how the Wii U fared competitively. Further, recent rumors resonate fairly well that Nintendo is readying a device that would take advantage of their portable design chops, along with the already well-established Android TV platform, with possibly NVIDIA silicon under the hood powering the experience.
