By now I’m sure you’ve heard that Microsoft’s free Windows 10 upgrade program for existing users of Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 ended yesterday.  I personally believe Microsoft will run promotions for additional free Windows 10 upgrades again at some point, to motivate people to go into Microsoft stores, when significant updates or features are added to the OS to drum up interest, or maybe when promoting new hardware, but that’s a story for another day.
