Over the past couple of days, there has been a wave of exciting, retro-gaming news. It seemed to start with the awesome Nintendo NES Classic Edition.  If you missed the announcement, Nintendo has a diminutive, throw-back version of the original NES coming down the pipeline for just under $60, pre-loaded with 30 popular games. It is slated to arrive just in time for the holiday shopping season.
