Last March I talked about technology pilots and discussed a survey we launched regarding technology adoption. I asked if we were going to invest in IOT, VR/AR, biometrics, analytics and wearables and other technologies or if there was just a lot of hype about “emerging” and “disruptive” technologies. The data we collected was across multiple industries and countries, but primarily from the US. There were nearly as many business professionals as technology professionals who responded to the survey. The Cutter Consortium facilitated the data collection process.
