Green Bank, West Virginia is home to the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, which houses instruments that are so sensitive to electromagnetic waves that residents the 13,000 square mile region surrounding the town are prohibited from using cell phones, WiFi, microwaves, and other tech things too.
