Tesla’s Autopilot may have contributed to the death of one of the company’s biggest fans yesterday. But that shouldn’t signal a death-knell for robotic cars, rather it should be a reminder that pushing the envelope can be dangerous — especially when the prize being sought is so potentially valuable.
