NVIDIA’s big splash may have been the launch of their latest killer graphics card a couple of weeks ago, and their top-of-the-line Pascal GPU for consumers, now known as the GeForce GTX 1080. But even though this $599 – $699 MSRP graphics card actually beats the company’s previous generation $1K graphics card (NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX Titan X)–offering gamers serious bang for the buck comparatively–industry insiders know the paydirt is in higher volume sales at more attainable price points.
