Anytime I’m asked for advice on new PC components or accessories, I typically recommended splurging for the best input devices and monitors possible. Obviously the performance of the system is of the utmost importance as well, but most users don’t perceive the performance differences between a mid-range and high-end CPU or graphics card, for example, with common day-to-day computing tasks.  However, the quality of the input devices and monitor – which we interface with constantly – can have an immediate and perceptible impact on the user experience. High quality monitors and input devices simply make the experience better.
