Virtual reality conjures up images of 3D video games and recreational simulations which involved players sitting in large pods with heavy head gear or online avatars which traversed through virtual worlds such as Second Life.  That was the first wave of virtual reality. A lot has changed. Today’s virtual reality technologies have evolved from those times and are preparing to not only entertain video game players but to also play a role in big business.
