Lighter, a company that wants to help people transition to eating less meat and more plants, was in business for just over six months, when it chose to make a “massive pivot,” as cofounder Alexis Fox calls it. Fox and her cofounder Micah Risk aim to turn Lighter into a Pandora for nutrition through personalized meal plans and the ability to follow recommendations of recognized “food leaders” who eat a vegan diet.
