For the last few years, ARM and TSMC, the Taiwanese Semi-Conductor Manufacturing Company, have been closely collaborating to ensure each company’s respective technologies play and perform well together. ARM makes the processor IP used in a wide range of devices and SoCs (System On A Chip) – like the processor in the smartphone or tablet you’re probably reading this on – and TSMC actually manufactures the silicon.
