Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk rarely fails to garner headlines when he speaks out. Prior to the recent reveal of the Model 3, one of the biggest stories in Tesla’s recent history was the launch of Auto Pilot, the company’s semi-autonomous driving system. During a recent visit to Silicon Valley to speak at the Future Connected Cars conference, Tesla was nice enough to loan me a Model S equipped with Auto Pilot to drive during my stay in the area.
