A short trailer showed off some of what we’ll be seeing in the new game, with images of biplane fighter aces, early tanks, flamethrowers, zeppelins, dessert raiders and The White Stripes. The Battlefield franchise made its entry back in 2002 with Battlefield: 1942, and so this game takes the series back past its original setting and into a conflict that we rarely see in video games, let alone in AAA shooters.
