Go play the new episode of King’s Quest. Play it now. Shut your curtains, get some snacks, download Once Upon A Climb and sink in. It will be, at times, difficult. Not on a gameplay level, mind you. It will be difficult on an emotional level. But you owe this one to yourself. King’s Quest: Once Upon A Climb is the best gameplay experience I’ve had in 2016 so far, proving not only that The Odd Gentleman can be trusted with this storied franchise, but that that they’re able to push it forward in all the right ways.
