Supercell’s new game may be crushing it on the app charts, but it’s young yet. Clash Royale is a spring chicken when compared to Clash of Clans, which has seen years of cotnent updates and gameplay tweaks designed to keep old players tapping away and to keep new players feeling cared for even as their more experienced colleagues. And that’s what Clash Royale is doing now, too, making some much needed expansions and adjustments in its early days on the market. We’ve got big adjustments to the way the game doles out chests, gold and cards, as well as some new cards and changes to the spectating mechanic.
