Achieving some level on anonymity and maintaining your privacy while on-line is becoming increasingly more difficult. There are multiple ways to cover your tracks and prevent unwanted spying and data mining, but those methods are usually reserved for more tech-savvy users. Throw the terms Tor, or encryption, or VPN at most users and their eyes will gloss over and confused looks will wash over their faces.
