As the headline states, I've just tried Minecraft for the first time. I've seen people on YouTube make all kinds of crazy stuff – from working computers to 1:1 scales of Star Ship Enterprise from Star Trek. So I thought I would give it a go.

Man I felt like an idiot!! I managed to survive the first night – but only through sheer luck. I couldn't find out how to make a shelter, but did manage to create a crafting table 🙂

I'm determined to slay that dragon, I've read about, and have decided to document the journey on my small gaming channel on YouTube. Now if I could just figure out how to make a torch…. LOL
