Why doesn’t Mojang ask the community to build Minecraft’s random structures?

Imagine how cool villages would be if Mojang commissioned a build team to build houses simple enough to be procedurally generated yet complex enough to be aesthetically pleasing. Right now, in my opinion, they are pretty ugly.
