Today Hearthstone’s biggest expansion yet has been released, Heroes of the Old Gods, and it’s big not just in terms of the breadth of cards it’s introducing, but because of how it’s fundamentally changing the game going forward. In a new “standard” competitive mode, old adventures and expansions have been cut, so far Curse of Naxxramas and Goblins vs. Gnomes, and as more are released, others will be eliminated as well.
