What’s in our sweat tells a story about our health. For example, a concentration of saline in sweat gives us clues about about cystic fibrosis; acidity levels can indicate certain skin diseases. Even sodium and/or potassium levels, detectable through sweat, can signal if you’re dehydrated. And, a concentration of lactate in the sweat can tell doctors if your muscles are fatigued.
