Prince will forever be remembered for his brilliant songs and musicianship, but his work on artist’s rights was very significant. On the same day that Prince died, another copyright activist, Richard Lyons of the band Negativland, died as well. While not the household name that Prince is, Mr. Lyons and Negativland had tremendous impact as well.
