At first blush, the idea of third-party support seems strange. A third-party company who didn’t make a product is claiming that they can come in and support it, that is fix it when it breaks and keep it running. I think it is time to explain basic questions related to this value proposition: Why is it feasible to get support for enterprise software from third parties? Is it a good idea?
