There are some commonalities among high school prom and YouTube celebrity.  While Hollywood stardom might be the podium for king and queen, YouTube is like the dance floor itself: Anyone could be the star, if they have the right moves. Both are rife with potential insecurities, but usually demand that you put on your best face. And, of course, it’s great to be the life of the party, but if you want to connect at the end of the dance, something real must show through.
