Last night, after getting home from work, my BF, who makes fun of my minecraft habit, offered to play with me. I quickly crafted him some iron armor, sword, water bucket, gave him some pick axes and food. YAY!

Total Death Count: 7

#1(him)- Runs into a village, tries to wave at a baby villager. Punches it. Iron Golem wrecks his world.

2(him)- digs straight down into lava. Dies.

3(him)- creeper

New gear, guide him to a cavern I haven't really gotten started exploring. Off he goes, I follow to offer advice.

5(me)-He digs a block out from under me and I fall into massive lava pit.

6(me) Explaining how to mine the diamonds that are over lava to him, fall into the hole he dug earlier.

7(him) Forgets to eat, skeleton takes advantage of situation.

At this point, he's broken 3 enchanted pick axes, but had a boat load of ore in his bag. He ran out of torches, but had a "eh, I can find my way back…." moment. Needless to say, we never found where he was.

The ouch factor: full set of lovely enchanted diamond armor:gone. Looting II, Sharpness IV, Fire Aspect diamond sword:poof I don't even want to think about all the sexy pick axes that went to pick axe heaven.

Absolutely worth it, if just to watch the Iron Golem come around the corner and send him flying. I had tears from laughing.
