Last August I wrote about how Ford would be allocating the new 2017 Ford GT. Fans of the supercar have been waiting with bated breath for the chance to apply for ownership, and yesterday the application process went live at http://ift.tt/22v1rnw. While the new GT’s price has yet to be confirmed we already know it’s going to be…well, a lot. The price is justified given the car’s performance, but if you can’t realistically buy a multi-hundred-thousand-dollar car you can still browse through all the 2017 GT’s exterior colors, stripes, wheel options and carbon fiber trim packages on the new Ford GT configurator that also went live yesterday. I’ve spent far too much time over the past 12 hours playing with different combinations (who needs sleep?) and I’ve come up with my 10 favorite exterior configurations. There are also interior choices to be made as well, so if you really want to dig into the new GT’s personalization potential head over there and start configuring your own version of Ford’s ultimate supercar.
