Vive and Rift need to get these things in more stores and get the idea out there: people are going to like it. When you walk by a Microsoft store and see someone with a headset on your face, you’ll be curious as to what’s going on. And you might just want to try it out. VR may not be ready to revolutionize our daily lives yet, but it’s more than ready to provide a somewhat mind-blowing demo to anyone that happens to wander into a store at the mall. That’s where these companies need to be right now: enough talking to the media, we’re on board. Time for consumers.
