I don’t even care if it’s a pickaxe or a shovel (!), it bugs me that virtually any block in the game is affected by Efficiency enchantment and can be broken down faster, but not our dear glass.

So if you’re dismantling the house, you’ll spend most of the time painstakingly breaking those windows.

And no, swords aren’t designated tools – they break anything faster and lose double durability in the process and of course aren’t affected by Efficiency.
