It’s quite obvious that wireless carriers are feeling the burn of stiff competition, with rising data caps and lower priced family share options being rehashed and re-marketed at a frenzied pace in an effort to one-up each other. In fact, AT&T is looking at new and creative ways to tap more services (and bloatware) into smartphones, as the company is rumored to be considering a Cynogen-driven phone so it has more control over the operating system as a result.
