Driving service Uber launched in Nigeria’s capital Abuja as its 400th city, showing the huge growth of the “ride-sharing platform” in Africa – something which CEO Travis Kalanick has listed as one of the company’s top priorities. Launched last week, Abuja follows Kenyan coastal town Mombasa which was the 399th city.
