On Sexual Harassment, NIH Needs Tools To Make Things Better, Not More Compliance Regulations

To mount an effective response to sexual harassment in science, NIH must learn from shortcomings in existing mechanisms for addressing scientific misconduct. Increasing the fear of harsh penalties or the regulatory burden on researchers won’t help as much as rewarding high-quality training of new scientists.
