From smart watches to headphones to eye-wear and more, wearable technology continues to be a growing product trend that companies like Samsung and Apple have tightly embraced. Consumers, on the other hand, have seemingly not been as quick to jump on board with this growing trend, with lower than expected sales of the Apple Watch having undoubtedly tampered overall consumer expectations of wearable tech. Despite this, however, over $2 billion was spent on wearable technology in 2015 and these figures are anticipated to rise as each year passes.
